Sports Karate Tournament Training

While many modern martial arts are focused nearly entirely on competition, our philosphy is that competition can be a really good compliment to your training in the martial arts. We believe that competition is not an end in itself, but a means to help you understand and apply your basics under pressure. Instructors and students of Sunshine Coast Karate have been very successful in competition including numerous national and international Championships.

Tournament training is usually not recommended to brand new students, as it is first important to develop the basics of Karate. However, if the competitive side of Karate sounds interesting to you, why not get started.
