"Every month we help celebrate the birthdays of all the members in the dojo who are having birthdays in that month.
And the best part... I get to help them eat the birthday cake! " |

"When the classes are on parents have the chance to sit back and relax in our lounge area while they chat or watch the class.
Sometimes they're really nice and read me books and play games with me.
During the adult classes, some of the kids whose parents train wait out here and play with me too." |

"Out the front, we have a small club shop so that members can buy all of the essentials:
- Uniforms
- Belts
- Protective equipment
- Weapons
- Learning resources
But, my baby brother Steven likes the water bottles best. I think that's because they taste so good. |

"When there's no classes on, I love to play in the dojo because there's lots of cool stuff to play with:
- Strike shields & punching bags
- Head & body gear
- Weapons
- Even some skipping ropes
But the soft matted floor is probably the best thing because I can run, jump and roll around without hurting myself. " |

"My Mum and Dad always make sure that everyone is putting in their best effort, and reaching for higher heights.
Sometimes it looks like hard work for the students but they know, that there's no shortcut to any place worth going.
Even I've learned a thing or two, but then again, I have been a regular at the dojo my whole life!" |
