Sunshine Coast Chito-Ryu Karate Association

In 2001, early members helped establish a local non-proffit association, to help support the activities and growth of the membership.

In 2004, the association hosted its first local tournament, which also happened to be the first ever Chito-Ryu tournament in Australia outside of NSW. Since then the tournament has continued as an annual event, attracting competitors from all Chito-Ryu dojos throughout the country.

Each year, the association runs a number of fund raising activites and social events for members. Perhaps the most well attended each year is the annual Christmas party and training day which is an event for the whole family.
